Camberwell Old Cemetery, SE23
The London Borough of Southwark commissioned the practice to design and procure new gates for the entrance into Camberwell Old Cemetery on the corner of Wood Vale and Langton Rise in East Dulwich, SE23. The gates are positioned between the original Grade II listed masonry gate posts.
The gate’s falling leaf motif symbolises both the use of the cemetery and its woodland setting.
Included in the images is a production photograph taken at the forge where the gates were made.
