The Moxley Christmas lunch was on Wednesday 17th. The entire team flew from London Gatwick to Venice Marco Polo airport from where they were transported by speedboats to the landing stage on the terrace of the Gritti Palace Hotel on the Grand Canal. The weather was warm and sunny and the decision was to dine outside on the terrace. While the table was being prepared there was just enough time for a brief trip to St Mark’s Square and back.

The menu included four Starters, two First Courses, two Main Courses, four Desserts, Coffee and Petit Four accompanied by a delightful Pinot Grigio and a silky smooth Valpolicella. There were no time consuming menu choices to be made –¬†everybody had everything!

After the fantastic dining experience there was just enough time for a ‘shake-down’ walk before the speedboats arrived for the return trip to the airport.
